I am Wim-Jaap Modderman, a photographer from Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
Years ago I started photography with a Nikon F60, after some years I switched to a compact camera and even a smartphone because of my other hobby (re-enactment/ living history), where I couldn't hide my "big" Nikon F60.
When I went on holidays to Scotland I wanted to make better pictures then only the smartphone ones and I bought a second hand Nikon D80.
In november 2017 I switched to a Nikon D7100.
I started out with Nature and wildlife photography and since November 2018 I started to broaden my interest and started model photography.
Since then I've started to build up my portfolio.
Since March 2019 I switched to a Nikon D500.
I really like nature and Wildlife, but also alternative festivals like Castlefest and medieval festivals.
I am a volunteer at this kind of festivals, mainly as a technician in the techcrew.
I work at a middleschool as a shopkeeper for techlessons and am the coordinator of the theatertechnicians.
I also photograph people, in which I take to the alternative side, like costumes and alternative clothingstyles, cosplay etc..
I think this is enough about me, if not, just send me a message on the contact page.
